Insured deposits are provided through Dreyfus Insured Deposits (a product offered through a private labeling arrangement with the Dreyfus Cash Solutions division of BNY Mellon Securities Corporation), and Reich & Tang Deposit Solutions, LLC. Dreyfus and R&T both offer up to $2.5M in FDIC coverage through their networks of program banks. Each insured program bank provides coverage on balances up to the current standard maximum deposit insurance amount of $250,000 per eligible depositor, including any balances held at that bank directly or through other intermediaries. Because Dreyfus and R&T may on occasion use the same program banks, total eligible FDIC coverage per client may be less than $5 million.
